Process

1.    Your task is to assume one of the Roles listed below

2.    Assign different topics to members of your group:

a.     People and Events

b.     Science and Technology

c.      Lifestyles/Leisure/sports

d.     Art and media issues

3.    Gather information using textbooks, encyclopedias, first hand accounts, library books, magazines, newspapers, documentaries, movies, songs, internet, etc.

4.    Collect and/or create visual aides for your topic

5.    Find musical samples and video clip to represent your topic/decade.

6.    Design PowerPoint/hyper studio presentation to teach class

7.    Look at teacher lesson plans to come up with lesson plans/activities of your own

8.    Create test-no more than 30 questions.

9.    Practice presentation!!!!!!!!!!!!

Each group must include the following things in their presentation:

1.    A power point/hyper studio presentation with visual aides

2.    An activity to help get the information across

3.    A review game for the test

4.    A musical sample

5.    A video segment

6.    Turn in all paperwork: group outline, individual outlines, self-evaluation essay
